Chalk & Cheeze are a maverick duo. Their performances bring an entertaining mix of mirth, mayhem and madness, to audiences and are guaranteed to raise a laugh. Well known popular Salford Scallie (Gordon Zola) is paired with Brummie Bard, Eve Nortley, in a football style marriage, that bridges the North/Midland’s divide. Their professional, ‘Kick Off’, was at the Morecambe 2023 Fringe, where they debuted their show, ‘Fatal Attraction' which received rave reviews.

All about Eve

Eve Nortley is a Brummie Bard and workshop facilitator. She cites her influences as: Benjamin Zephania, Edward Burne Jones, Victoria Wood and King Kong (don’t ask). She perceives art as being, beauty, politics and social history rolled into one. She has performed widely across the UK, guesting at numerous venues, festivals and fund raisers. Her most unusual performance venue was on the central reservation of Preston New Road, supporting protesters, at the Quadrilla Fracking site.
